Boys to Men and Hardy Girls Healthy Women will be presenting a series of four workshops on gender stereotypes and identity, healthy relationships and violence prevention for all 7th & 8th grade students. These sessions will be provided in coordination and assistance from the CEMS counseling department and designated CEMS teachers.
The overall objectives of this project are to:
*Support youth with positive gender identity development
*Empower youth to challenge gender-based stereotypes, harassment, abuse and violence
*Provide youth with appropriate tools to navigate their own identity development and to approach the aforementioned challenges.
GRADE 7 Dates - October 1, 8, 15, & 22
GRADE 8 Dates- November 6, 12, 19, 26 (during science classes)
